On Monday, May 21st, 2007 over 350 Community Members from 20 different congregations gathered at Faith Christian
Family Center on Laura Lee Ave to kick off the new year in a BIG WAY. The meeting focused on the importance of
Building justice ministry networks in each congregation so we can powerfully address injustices in Leon County by
bringing thousands of people of faith together. TEAM welcomed 3 new congregations into membership: Faith Christian
Family Center, First Institutional Baptist Church, and St. John’s Episcopal Church. TEAM Congregations will be doing
continued work in the areas of health care and housing as well as addressing a new issue related to Youth and Education!
Next Event is the Issues Training which will take place on Monday, June 18th at 6:30 pm at Holy Comforter Episcopal
Church 2015 Fleischmann Rd.
