TEAM
sought and received approval from the City Commission, for the City
of Tallahassee to establish the Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program;
however, there has been little or no marketing of the program and the
application process is very cumbersome. TEAM is working on getting
marketing for the program and revamping the application.

Faced with
high energy bills, increasing numbers of people are faced with having
their utilities cut off for non-payment. This is a serious problem.
Tallahassee needs a solution that will permanently lower the utility
bills of low-income households; increase their ability to pay; and,
at the same time, improve the quality of our community’s
environment with fewer power plant emissions.
